Introduction
Using this package, you can run common unix command line tools from within a Galaxy server.Available Tools
Simple Text Processing (complementing Galaxy's text manipulation tools):- Remove Ending (of a file)
- Find & Replace text in line/column
- Select lines (from a file) by matching word list
Advance Text Processing Tools:
- awk
- sed
- sort
- grep
- join
- uniq
- cut
note: Galaxy already have some tools that perform similar operations (especially grep,cut,join, and uniq). The tools in this package provide extended options, and resemble more closely to the unix command line versions.
